I'll tell you what I completely love this reference, I think what you have done here is great! The colours work well, the artwork is amazing! All in all I would buy it.

I like her there, but not her weird hat (it needs either another angle, some darker shades of blue, or a whole new design).

The orange-red on the club? I think it sticks out too much, especially where it is, against her dress.

And does it have to have the same shade of brown as her hair?

But, I love all the details and I'd buy it when it's done.

I think having pauline/daisy there balances it out, but would like to see it without her there. Either way i'd buy it.

I adore the DK wrecking ball, but am not so sure the daisy with the mallet is necessary.
She seems very arbitrary to me, but the idea that Mario is just screwing up dk's day job just made me snort my soft drink.
The barrel in the "d" is positively cool. Whether or not you make a change to the daisy with her cow udder hat. I would buy this.
