Sorry, great idea but IMPOSSIBLE to look at. Maybe 2d instead of 3d?

Do not add text. I think it would turn a clever shirt into a corny shirt.

"LEGOLAS" in all caps but bigger first L typed out in the same Lego-design above or below would help people get the joke without ruining it imo :) nice work!

Awesome shirt idea, I love it!
The shirt looks great even though I didn't get the pun just from the pic. I think the idea of text is OK but it would ruin the graphic, so how about the text be on the back like just below the collar.

I think you just need to add the LEGOlas title on the design somewhere, to help people get the joke. ;)

I definitely love the concept (yay puns!), but agree that it's hard to tell that this is Legolas. If you were willing to make a new version, it might be easier if you did, for instance, just the upper half of him in the same arrow-firing pose, if you can get the level of detail it would take to make it obviously him.

I did this in Corel Draw! The pun is in the name LEGOlas, it doesn't make any sense in making it with pixels :P

Thanks, dudes. This is an old idea/design that I thought it might be a good shirt :)

the Designer

I thought it was awesome without getting the joke, seeing it I think it needs a bit of explanation for most people to get it. So maybe add some text, like Lego tm olas?

I think you guys did a great job on the art and it's a clever concept. However, I also think there's a missing link between the art and the concept that requires an extra bit of explanation in order to get it. Namely, the image doesn't really scream Legolas. There's some key features, true, but it could just as easily be any other elf.

I realize that re-doing it will be difficult, but have you considered LEGO-izing the image of Legolas sliding down the steps at Helm's Deep on the shield while firing arrows instead?

It's pretty amazing that someone has managed to put so much effort into that, and I think it looks really cool. Well done.

Try making the border lines of the legos a darker shade of the color instead of black.

I would really like to know how you created and rendered that LEGO Legolas for the shirt. Did you use a Vector program or a 3D Modeling program? I'm really interested to find out.
