DESCRIPTION

Had a tough time choosing the heads, I'm sure not every gamer will agree... unfortunately, they are carved in stone. Har Har.

Sonic should be one of them. He was definitely a revolutionary character in video game progression.

This shirt is truly cool. But I'm in accordance with everyone else...Mario just doesn't quite fit the theme. I know he's a icon and all...but the other 3 icons are more FPS based and there more Mature games...Mario is not.

But each icon represents a console. Mario for Nintendo, Snake PS3, Gordon PC, and MC for 360. So I guess that was your intent.

Compared to the real Rushmore with Washington, Jefferson, FDR, and Lincoln. It should be more like Mario, Snake, MasterChief, and Freeman. Or have thrown Nukem instead of Mario, it doesn't make sense to have him there with 3 other FPS guys.

I think this is a great start. Why not just make additional shirts of just NES, SEGA, PS, etc? In no way are you going to appease all gamers with one of these shirts. Its like all those car stickers of Calvin wizzing on different stuff to voice opinion. Anyway, the only design things I noticed on first glance: #1 - Gordon got shot in the head #2 - Why is Mario looking at me?

hmm, gordon is a bit too anonymous for the average joe thus not that good for a common t-shirt. even I know him but didn't recognise him from the image. mario and sonic are recognisable in a heartbeat. masterchief is great choice for the new gen of gamers. Great choices but my only ggripe is with Freeman (a bit too anonymous for the averageman)

Snake over Link? Freeman and MC are great characters, but the entire Mt. Rushmore theme suggests prominent retro characters, not just popular characters. Link, Smaus, DK, and several others would have done perfectly well. At the very least, I would have liked to have seen them placed in respect to the chronological positions of the presidents.

K. Love the design and I get why you picked who you did I'd where this any time I'll prolly buy one when it gets out. But. if you wanted to do this really right. you'd do it like this one head from the main style of games. Fighting, Platform(Mario works) FPS (any of the other three works) and an RPG Could or any other RPG protagonist would work. also. if you wanted to really make it work. use guys from classic games so for fighter Ken or Scorpion or some thing. Mario still works .I dont know any one for first person shooter really. and for RGP like Fighter or Black mage I dont really know. Hopfully that helps.

Samus Aran would be a better choice then Mario, if only to keep the theme more consistant. Perhaps some kind of 'Nintendo Classics' version, using Mario, Luigi, Link, etc?

I like the idea, but the faces would definitely need some tweaking. Master Chief looks like he's just staring into space, Mario looks like he's looking at the "viewer," Snake looks like he's glaring at Gordon, and Gordon Freeman looks a little scared. Also, while I like the representation, maybe picks with some unity would be better. I mean, there's not really a whole lot that's similar between these four characters' games, other than the facts that they are all big games for their respective systems.

I had a similar idea as yours but never got beyond the rough sketch. Was thinking maybe of finishing it off, but seeing yours up here scraps that idea :P. On mount rushmore,the heads were: luigi, mario, wario, waluigi.

I couldn't recognise the 3rd head but I've never liked Playstation, for PC I'd prefer a different character but I can't deny that he is a popular choice despite my hatred of the HL series. Can't say I'd buy it because of that though.

... I like how some people are stating the TODAY versions, although Halo is not as old as Half Life, or Mario, or Metal Gear Solid.. I think those four games in particular have revolutionized gaming on each platform and are a good choice of representation for older and newer gaming generations.. Nice job.. I'd DEFINITELY throw down cash for this one :)

I like Snake taking the place of Teddy -- that fits with the whole "rough rider" warrior feel. However, I must admit that I would swap Mario and Master Chief -- Mario feels much more analogous to Washington for me. All in all, great design!
