"bright" was a little harder too read actually, and I think that a small change would fix it: make the "R" have a bigger loop at the top (just make the hole bigger).
Also, what is the bones on his "cheeks"? Is it part of his head? If not, draw a line.
And I think the glasses are to big.

I wasn't very clear on the pic of this one. The large, vertical flashbang isn't part of the design, it's a closeup. If this design had done better in voting I would fix it.

I like the circular "main" design. Think you should remove the large vertical flashbang on the right though. It fights for your attention, and it's redundant.
