Yeah, something needs to be changed about the shadow, I didn't realize it was one until I read the comments. Otherwise, I like it and the idea.

The Pacman doesn't look like a shadow to me. Is it meant to be along the ground and up a wall? If so adding some simple lines to show the wall might help. I like the pink on grey colour scheme.

It's great. The only things I don't like are the colors of the ghost and the tears. In rest, it's an awesome idea

Probberly lighter on that colour background, or make the backgound lighter and the shaddow darker.
